I have the same problem !!
I just posted somewhere else

I got my netbook from ebay this morning it was supposedly only used a couple of times by previous owner, it was all boxed and looks in perfect condition
it worked fine for 20 minutes, I turned it off then
turned it back on about half an hour later and it is stuck on the initialising screen, I have tried reset and it has made no difference

does no one find it strange how you cannot find their website anywhere ?

there is no mention of an allfine website or anywhere to get a troubleshooting guide in the small manual that came with mine and google search has come up with nothing
(at least with my old cnm netbook there is a support section on their website )

It is because these cheap netbooks was made from Flash chips which has bad blocks. So sometimes it just stop working and need a reflash.

reflash = Clean reinstallation of netbook

What is the original ROM version? What it shows at start?

the black screen with the info does not stay on long enough to read it but the info in the book says

CPU WM8505 processor

operating system : WinCE 6.0

is this what I have to do ?

Then it is not a Anyka device. This forum is mainly for devices with Anyka CPU(processor), you have WonderMedia-8505 CPU.
Lucky for you, you can at least install android [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

pressing F1 does not open anything,
I went to the android page you linked but the download link on there does not work : (

"FileServe can only be used to download and retrieve files that you have uploaded personally."

I don't have wm8505 device so you are on your own. Try to find forum for these devices.
Google for - WM8505 netbook linux
