Is imposible install a linux distro in the SD an then reboot from the SD?

Maybe, my question are very stupid, but I am not an expert and I don't understand this things...

ARM processors are specific, it is not like x86 architecture - for each processor type specific kernel needed.

as I see, this netbook does not support boot from SD card.

So, if we want a linux distro we have to install in the 2GB flash NAND, isn't? And... I suppose that in this moment is imposible and that there is people "working" in it, yes?

Thanks

For now, I'm trying to launch self-compiled keernel for this processor with HaRET. When it will be successfull, it will be not hard to make minimal distro.

Hi!

I'm new in this forum. I have found some info in this link:

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

In Linux OS Downloads tab appears to be a 2.6 Prebuilt Kernel Image for the ARM926EJ-S, like as Prebuilt Filesystem Images. There are links to developers info too.

Can be this useful in some way?

Thanks

PD: excuse my english, please
